Daily Imaginary Tarot Card GPT
I’m not particularly spiritual or into New Age practices, but ever since my youth, I’ve been intrigued by the Tarot. Not so much as a tool for fortune-telling, but rather as a way to explore alternative perspectives and obtain insights—ones that fall outside my usual patterns of thinking.
One method I sometimes use is to randomly select a Tarot card and treat it as the theme for the day. Previously, I have attempted to create a dedicated GPT for this purpose—one that could randomly generate a card and offer additional explanation and guidance. However, the results were underwhelming: the GPT struggled with the concept of randomness, and the images it produced often showed only partial or unclear representations of the cards.
Recently, I gave it another try, and the improvements have been remarkable. The current version of the Daily Imaginary Tarot Card GPT works beautifully. It allows you to randomly select a Tarot card—with a creative twist: the card doesn’t have to exist in the traditional deck. Instead, it evokes the medieval aesthetic of the Rider-Waite pack while introducing entirely new archetypes. This approach significantly broadens the scope of possible daily themes.

The GPT also provides comprehensive guidance, including symbolic interpretations, meanings, actionable advice, a reflection prompt, a short inspirational story, and a closing message. Additionally, users can interact with the card by asking it a question or receiving a message from its persona.
